Dear Members,
Find attached the Agenda and last year’s minutes of the Annual General Meeting to be held at the Wilmot Arms in Borrowash from 8pm on Tuesday 27th October. All members are welcomed and no charge will be made for the evening. You will see on the agenda that Eddy and I will be presenting an update on the year’s activities. Whilst I cannot promise Morecambe and Wise we aim to make it factual but entertaining for you.

Annual General Meeting 2014 Minutes
I am pleased to note that we have most of our committee happy to stand again, and that is a strong position to be in. However I am sorry that Paul Birtles who has served the Society so well for many years will be stepping down from Vice Chair at the AGM. The committee are immensely grateful for all his help (and his family, who were regularly nominated to help at events), especially during the trauma of his house extension and we wish him a more relaxed retirement. I am pleased that Eddy has offered to stand for Vice, but this means that we will be looking for someone to look after merchandising and events.
Please consider helping out on events or any other position of interest. With the activity levels increasing on the Trust extra support for the Society Committee will also help with progress on the restoration.
We will have our events boards and merchandise at the meeting for anyone who has missed them and you’ll be able to see our new Christmas Card design and Christmas Membership Deals.
Please also note that we will continue with working parties at Draycott with the next date being 18th from 9.30am.
