David & Derek will again be hosting our June Meeting taking members on a guided walk of another section of the Canal – this time at Sandiacre.
Meet at the Bridge Inn, Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre for a 7.00pm start (Note earlier start time than usual, but if not you would be walking in the dark!)

The walk is approximately 4.5 miles long, across in-filled canal bed, farmland with stiles, pavements and tow path. In wet weather some of the farmland paths will be muddy. It crosses a few main roads and goes along a stretch of operational canal.
There is plenty of parking space in the pub car park where we have the okay to park whilst we head out…I am sure some will stop for a drink before/after/both!
