Dawn Rose pulled for 2 miles

Over £1,000 has been raised by sponsoring volunteers to pull narrow boat Dawn Rose along a two mile section of the Chesterfield Canal. Working Party Update 19th November

We has a good turn out at Draycott today given the short notice with 6 folks turning up. As a result there were 3 bonfires to tidy up the hedge cuttings and all brambles cut near the bridge. As Mick had also turned up there was a hedge laying team too, so very well worthwhile. [...]
