Just a quick reminder about our monthly meeting. Venue as usual the Wilmot Arms, Derby Road, Borrowash,DE72 3HA from 8 pm on Tuesday 28th April. Our speaker this month is Eric Boultbee from the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. As enthusiasts may know the railway is a charity which has succeeded in pretty much a full restoration of the railway line between Duffield and Wirksworth – a length of 8.5 miles. They have achieved it quickly including some unusual fundraising methods. Eric has been involved from the early days and will tell us how it has been achieved and what’s on offer for family and enthusiasts who visit them.
