Over £1,000 has been raised by sponsoring volunteers to pull narrow boat Dawn Rose along a two mile section of the Chesterfield Canal. We've been successful in gaining a grant from Erewash Borough Council Community Scheme for a superb £2,000. This will help us to set up new interpretation panels in Erewash at Borrowash, Sandiacre and Draycott and to erect a couple of fences to safeguard the public.It's great news and shows that our work is being recognised.
