Sustrans
Sustrans is a charity which designs and builds routes for cyclists, walkers and people with disabilities. The Canal Society is working closely with Derbyshire County Council and Sustrans to establish a brand new multi user trail (MUT) from Elvaston castle to both West Park and Sandiacre Junction on the Erewash Canal. This forms part of the National Millennium Cycle Route from Dover to Inverness and will produce significant economic benefits along the canal corridor.
