A brand new newsletter initiative from the Derby & Sandiacre Canal Trust.  Linking green spaces in and around  Derby. 

Greenways is a campaign to promote sustainable transport links in and around Derby.  The Derby Canal, National Cycle Routes all form part of a coordinated programme of development to help people get about, get fit and enjoy open, traffic free spaces whilst at the same time benefitting the environment and wildlife.

 This monthly news letter will include specific articles on pedestrian and cycle networks linking communities with open spaces, recreational parks, riverside walks, linear parks, and the Derby city centre. There are established and growing green spaces all around us and we aim to encourage communities to venture out and explore. we want everyone to enjoy the myriad of green spaces close to home and be able to get to them safely, healthily and sustainably.
